About me

Illustrated portrait of Joshua Erney

I'm an IT support specialist first and a front-end developer second, based in Indianapolis, IN.

I've spent more than five years in IT, most of it running Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune for law firm and manufacturing teams, and I'm currently a Sr. IT Helpdesk Technician at Malarkey Roofing Products. My creativity and love of design led me towards pursuing web development as a hobby initially and now as a career. Right now I'm focused on improving my knowledge of modern CSS and plain framework-free code while growing my JavaScript knowledge.

Away from the keyboard, I'm usually on my Yamaha MT-07 or at a tabletop game. I play Daggerheart and D&D, and I'm writing my own campaign, The Emberlight Covenant, set in a world where magic vanished after a war between gods. I also keep a Raspberry Pi 5 running at home for container experiments.
